An institution recognized as being of public utility, the Academy of Agriculture of France has been contributing since 1761, in the scientific, technical, economic, legal, social and cultural fields, to the current adaptations of agriculture and rural territories.
Thus, the Academy brings together many specialists who study:
• the production, processing, consumption and use of agricultural, livestock, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture products,
• the social, economic and cultural changes of the actors and activities related to food, the environment and health,
• the management of natural resources and rural territories, in order to improve the environment, the quality of soil and water and to restore biodiversity, in relation to the health and quality of life of populations,
• taking into account climate change and the necessary transitions,
• the relationship between science and society.
