The cultivation of bitter orange tree is the result of an exceptional history and heritage.
A human adventure that dates back to the end of the 19th century, when a few farmers from Vallauris Golfe Juan decided to create the 1st plantation of this species of orange tree which is so precious to perfumers. they didn't yet know that they were going to endow the city with a unique legacy that would be passed down from generation to generation.
A heritage that we are proud and happy to share with you.
Aware of being the heirs of unique know-how, our cooperators do everything they can to preserve and pass it on. Today the nerolium cooperative, with around fifty producers, continues the bitter orange blossom harvest and organizes new plantations in Vallauris Golfe Juan. It remains faithful to the mission it has given itself: to revive, modernize and share a unique heritage in France.
