Discover AGRI'CULTURA: the Paris International Agricultural Show Literary Prize

About the Prize
For centuries, agriculture has inspired art and literature. Today, in the face of food sovereignty issues and the challenges facing the agricultural sector, many authors are once again placing agriculture at the heart of their work.
With AGRI'CULTURA, the Paris International Agricultural Show recognises authors whose works help people discover, understand and appreciate the agricultural world, its people and its values.
3 Books Shortlisted for the Final Stage of the Literary Prize
After several months of reading, the AGRI’CULTURA Literary Prize selection committee met on 3 September 2026 for another decisive stage in the prize’s inaugural edition.
Comprising Fadela Benabadji, Valérie Baillon, Valérie Le Roy, Iris Roze, Ghislain Loustalot and François Pelle, the committee devoted nearly two and a half hours to discussing and debating the fourteen books in the selection.
These lively discussions and exchanges of views gave each member the opportunity to reflect on the books they had read, their themes, literary quality and ability to help readers discover and understand the realities of agricultural and rural life.
Following these deliberations, three books were shortlisted to continue their journey towards the AGRI’CULTURA Literary Prize.
Meet the Jury
The three shortlisted books will now be presented to the jury members, who will continue reading and considering the selected works.
The composition of the jury will be announced soon.
Following this next stage of reading and deliberation, the jury will select the winner of the first edition of the AGRI'CULTURA Literary Prize.
Join us in early December 2026 to discover the first AGRI'CULTURA winner!
