SITUATION                     The cellars, both for wine-making and ageing, as well as the offices are  located in the centre of CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE.

PRODUCTION              Red and White CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE.

BRAND                                COMTE DE LAUZE

GRAPE VARIETIES       Grenache , Syrah, for the reds.

                                              Grenache White, Roussane, Clairette, Bourboulenc for the whites

SOIL                              Pebbles, clay and limestone giving to the grape varieties their

                                              best expression and character.

HARVEST                     By hand with a careful sorting of the grapes.

VINIFICATION            Traditional. Ageing in oak barrels.

AWARDS                      Each year the Domain wins many medals in various                                               

competitions : Foire aux Vins de Mâcon, Concours Général Agricole, Vinalies, Challenge International de Blaye-Bourg.

PACKAGING                Armoried bottles for the CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE and bourguignonne bottles for the COTES DU RHONE.

SALES                           Catering trade, wholesalers, export and private customers.

                                              We are looking for importers in all countries.

DOMAINE COMTE DE LAUZE

The Domain Comte de Lauze is exploited since 1976. Anne and her family are owner. The Domain is constituted of 9 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and 12 hectares of Côtes-du-Rhône. 

Cellars and wine storehouses as well as the offices are located in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Our châteauneuvois vineyard is located in the northwest of the area of appellation, on the road to Orange (at the place known as Cabrières). The ground is clay-limestone with rolled pebbles, vector of heat and of earliness. The mistral which sweeps across the Valley-du-Rhône cleans up and cools the vineyard.

Our production of red Châteauneuf-du-Pape is elaborated from a selection of three grapes: Grenache, Syrah and Chateauneuf du Pape white: Grenache White, Roussane, Clairette, Bourboulenc.

Our picking is manual, with a rigorous sorting of grapes.

The plots of land of Côtes-du-Rhône are located between Sorgues and Orange.

The production of red Côtes-du-Rhône is elaborated from the selection of two grapes: Grenache and Syrah. Côtes du Rhone White is elaborated with Viognier, Grenache White, Roussane. They are wines of pleasure.
