Jérôme Despey, President of the Paris International Agricultural Show, pays tribute to the exhibitors and reflects on the highlights of the Show.
Ladies and gentlemen, dear exhibitors,

The doors of the Paris International Agricultural Show have just closed, and without delay, I want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU.

This edition was particularly successful for many reasons, foremost among them your commitment, your passion, and your hard work.

I must also highlight how the ever-renewed visual appeal of your stands contributes greatly to the success of our event.

The same goes for the activities and demonstrations: more than ever, they stood out for their originality and effectiveness.

For the first time, the Show welcomed a guest country of honor—Morocco. This too was a success, with the strong presence of Moroccan authorities and a large delegation. It is clearly the beginning of a new cycle to develop the Show's international dimension as it deserves.

We can also bet that the cow who will succeed Oupette next year will be a worthy star in her own right.

France’s leading exhibition takes pride in its uniqueness, its firsts, its commitments—and in your presence.

The Show would not be what it is without you. You notice what works and what needs improvement. You are the ongoing barometer of the Show’s atmosphere, and I thank you for that as well.

With 88 political and institutional visits, we once again broke a record—one we do not seek, but one we manage with great care to ensure our protocol is upheld to the highest standard.

This also reflects the appeal of our aisles, far beyond purely political considerations.

The visitor charter put in place for these visits worked well overall this year, thanks to everyone’s cooperation.

The Paris International Agricultural Show is a big family—and you are an integral part of it.

As France’s leading trade show, we combine human values with collective professionalism.

Ladies and gentlemen, dear exhibitors, I have just one thing to say:
Can’t wait for next year!
