From February 21 to March 1, 2026, the Paris Agricultural Show showcases those building the agriculture of tomorrow.
Agriculture: Generations Solutions!

Agriculture is a constantly evolving field, where the emergence of solutions is essential to address today’s challenges such as farm succession, climate change, and the preservation of natural resources.
The new generations of farmers are, and will continue to be, true drivers of change. Without them, there is no food sovereignty. On their farms, they are developing more sustainable practices, adopting new technologies, and rethinking agricultural models.
One of agriculture’s key priorities is to enable younger generations to take over farms. This renewal ensures generational continuity, innovation and modernization, as well as the preservation of farmland.
By bringing together all the players in the farming sector, the Paris International Agricultural Show helps to highlight solutions that make it easier to start out, to pass on farms, and ultimately to ensure renewal.
"The Show does not simply reflect the state of the sector; it reveals where it is heading. For 2026, we have chosen to open the way to ‘Generations Solutions’: those who act every day to meet the challenges of farm succession, food sovereignty, and climate change. With ambition, responsibility, and determination, these farmers, companies, institutions, and inter-branch organizations are already helping to build the agriculture of tomorrow: more independent, more innovative, more sustainable. ‘Generations Solutions’ is not just a slogan—it is about revealing these driving forces, highlighting what is moving forward, what works, and what inspires confidence!"

A THEME THAT RESONATES WITH THE SECTOR’S CHALLENGES

A true sounding board, the Paris International Agricultural Show continues its core mission: to support and celebrate the work of farmers who are building the agriculture of tomorrow, as well as the companies, institutions, inter-branch organizations, and associations contributing to this movement.

Each of them innovates in their own way and implements best practices to endure: more sustainable methods, digital adoption, adaptation to local territories, and social innovation. Without these solutions, there can be no strong agriculture, no food sovereignty, and no succession.
"Each year, the Show’s theme provides a true guiding thread for exhibitors who make it their own. In 2026, this positive theme will highlight solutions that make it easier to set up new farms and encourage succession, showcase farmers’ adaptation initiatives, and present a vision of the quality of agricultural production."

In a context where more than one-third of farmers will reach retirement age by 2030, generational renewal has become a priority. Faced with major climate, economic, and social transitions, it is essential that this challenge be recognized as a strong political choice in order to support the establishment of new farmers bringing forward-looking solutions.

For over 60 years, the Paris International Agricultural Show has accompanied these transformations. In 2026, it reaffirms its role: to reveal what is changing, what is inspiring, what is working, and to help foster support for sustainable and renewed agriculture.

After Morocco in 2025, the Paris International Agricultural Show will once again extend its international reach with a new country of honor for the 2026 edition.
