The National Forestry Office, 60 years dedicated to sustainable management of public forests

Inherited from centuries of management, the current forests are the result of the work of several generations of foresters, and today's foresters are preparing the forests of tomorrow.

To celebrate its 60th anniversary, the ONF invites you on a journey through time to discover the history of yesterday and today's public forests, meeting these generations of dedicated foresters.

Our teams will answer your questions about public forests and their management.

Activities for the whole family

On the program: quizzes and games on touch screens to test your forest knowledge, a bark recognition game, fun and educational board games about the importance of the forest through major historical dates and the forests of Île-de-France. Who said history and geography weren't fun!

And for the younger ones: the challenges of the mystery box.

Come and test your forest knowledge in a friendly, wooded atmosphere!

And the more adventurous can, through a digital simulation, glimpse the future of forests in 25, 50, and 100 years and the strategies implemented by the ONF to adapt them to future climates.
