An unmatched scale
In 2026, the unprecedented absence of cattle left a sense of incompleteness. Nevertheless, the key figures from this “not like the others” edition only reinforce the legitimacy and scale of France’s leading agricultural show:
- 437,402 visitors over 9 days
- 1,146 exhibitors and 28 countries represented
- 3,909 accredited French and international journalists
- 79 official visits
- 90% visitor satisfaction with 84% making purchases (*)
- Professional visitors consistently attending to see current partners (61%) and find new ones (50%) (**)
The SIA provides an exceptional platform for sharing messages and presenting products and solutions to a wide, engaged audience attentive to the agricultural and food challenges of tomorrow.
Preparing the "rebound" edition
For Jérôme Despey, President of the SIA, the next edition will truly be one of revival - or rather a “rebound, one of the most beautiful words in French agriculture.”
This ambition is guided by three priorities, both steadfast and strengthened: increased exhibitor satisfaction, happy visitors, and a warm welcome from policymakers. The return of cattle and the recent spotlight on Serbia are just the first building blocks.
