On June 10, the Paris International Agricultural Show celebrated the people who help bring the event to life, strengthen its influence and contribute to its growth year after year. More than 200 guests gathered to honour the recipients during an evening dedicated to recognition and appreciation.

Eleven dedicated individuals honoured
Five years after being reintroduced following more than two decades of absence, the Paris International Agricultural Show Medal recognises personalities whose commitment to agriculture and its flagship event has stood the test of time.
The 2026 class honours a diverse group of individuals whose achievements reflect the vitality and richness of the agricultural sector and the people who support it:
- André Prosper, Brahman cattle breeder
- Michel Barnier, former Prime Minister, long-standing contributor to agricultural and European affairs
- Martine Millereux, Head of Protocol for the Paris International Agricultural Show, a familiar face and a cornerstone of the event’s organisation
- Renaud Hamaide, former President of Comexposium, who played a key role in the Show’s development and influence
- Antonella Donadio, Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, committed to fostering agricultural cooperation and exchanges
- Édouard Marguier, specialised journalist, helping bridge the gap between agriculture and the general public
- François Purseigle, sociologist and dedicated observer of the transformations shaping the agricultural world
- Louise Lesparre, founder of the podcast La Clé des Champs, entrepreneur committed to the future of agricultural sectors
- Valérie Mestre, Director of Institutional Communications and External Relations at INTERBEV, actively promoting livestock sectors
- François Desrues, Chief Commissioner of the Concours Général Agricole youth competitions (CJAJ and TIEA)
- Julien Job, producer at La Camellerie, representing a practical, deeply rooted and innovative vision of agriculture.
Looking ahead to SIA 2027
This ceremony aims to recognise past commitments and collectively launch a new edition full of momentum and hope. SIA 2027 will undoubtedly be the year of the “Rs”, as President Jérôme Despey emphasised: rebound, respect, regeneration and renewal. A clear ambition, echoing the challenges and expectations of the sector.
