A new SIA communication embodied by a revisited and supportive poster
The 2026 edition of the Paris International Agricultural Show is taking place in a particularly difficult sanitary and human context. Due to the situation related to Contagious Nodular Dermatitis (CND), the bovine breed associations (selection bodies) have chosen not to present animals at the Paris International Agricultural Show.
This independent decision, which the Show respects, has led it to adapt its preparations.
True to its role and commitments, the Paris International Agricultural Show is now looking ahead and today, Tuesday 20 January, unveils its new communication, built around a revisited and supportive poster.
The message is clear: more than ever, coming to SIA this year means showing support.
Supporting the 36 bovine breeds that are part of French livestock farming, supporting the women and men who are committed to keeping this essential part of agriculture alive, and supporting this key event for the agricultural world.
For 62 years, SIA has promoted agriculture in all its diversity, across all productions and sectors. This is what visitors will be able to discover from 21 February to 1 March 2026 at Paris Expo – Porte de Versailles.
In 2025, 82% of visitors considered their visit as a sign of support for agriculture*. This collective momentum is set to continue in 2026.

The Show will bring together 1,100 exhibitors and nearly 3,500 animals.
The livestock sector will once again be at the heart of the event: sheep, pig and goat farming in Pavilion 1; horses and donkeys in Pavilion 6; dogs and cats in Pavilion 4; and livestock from around the world in Pavilion 7.1. In total, nearly 3,500 animals will be present at the Show.
Alongside the animals, all livestock farmers will also be mobilised, including cattle farmers, who will be fully present to meet and engage with the public.
To complete this agricultural showcase, Pavilion 4 will highlight plant-based farming, from cereals to market gardening, including gardening and the wine sector. Pavilion 7, spread over three levels, will showcase products from the 13 regions of mainland France and the 4 overseas regions, as well as an international opening with 30 countries represented, including 12 with institutional pavilions, offering visitors a true gastronomic journey.
Finally, Pavilion 5 will take a practical look at the daily reality of the farming profession, focusing on four key sectors of agricultural services and professions: a multi-sector space bringing together support organisations, an area dedicated to sea and freshwater, an environment and energy hub committed to ecological transition, and a sector devoted to wood and forestry. The whole will highlight ongoing innovations as well as the challenges of training and knowledge transfer.
As the programme for the 2026 edition was close to being finalised, the Paris International Agricultural Show is mobilising to deliver an experience that meets expectations for farmers, exhibitors and visitors. The shared ambition? “Come as you are and leave with a little of who we are!”
This momentum will continue with the announcement of the new programme at the next press briefing on 10 February.
